![]() I haven't participated in open Hackathons or Airtable contests prior to this so this was interesting for me to work on in few days of notice. Additionally I ran into some weird scripting issues that are possibly related to the way JS handles object manipulation. I was constantly looking for inspirations/ example that could ease my approach to building a simple custom script. So I utilised Airtable custom script to simplify adding scores (and balls faced) to match pace of the game. While using this in live I ran into issues relating to speed of adding data. It helps maintain score for two different teams and also tracks Fall of Wickets using blocks How I built it ![]() The scorecard itself is extremely simple and readable by anyone who understands the game. The handful of them which appeared free had underlying privacy issues abound! So I decided to make my own using Airtable & decided to submit this for the Wildcard category What it does I looked around, but found no scoreboard app that is totally free. I was asked to keep score for a game of cricket with heavily customised rules.
